1. feeling or showing interest, sympathy, or curiosity: »

an interested spectator.

2. having an interest or share; concerned.
3. influenced by personal considerations; prejudiced: »

An interested person cannot make a fair decision.

in´ter|est|ed|ness, noun.
Usage Interested has two opposites: uninterested, which is its negative, and disinterested, which means free from selfish motives; impartial; fair: »

He was uninterested in the outcome of the game. A disinterested spectator offered to referee.
